180 mm up front, 170 mm out back. The Reign E+ is basically a mini-DH bike that pedals itself up. Giant moved to a 48V system for this generation, which gives it a punchier feel than the numbers suggest.

The battery is on the small side at 560 Wh, but it's lighter for it, and the extender is there if you need it. I'd honestly rather have the lighter bike and carry the extender on big days.

If your favorite trails have a chairlift next to them, this is the e-bike that lets you skip the lift line.

What I like
  • Huge travel
  • Punchy 48V motor
  • Excellent descending
What I don't
  • Smaller battery
  • Overkill for most trail riding

Long-term test pending. Giant, if you'd like this one ridden and reviewed in full, let's talk.
